Snow Angel Valentine Tag ending Tonight.............

I painted this tag last night and I will list it on Ebay tomorrow evening at 9:15. She's a winter valentine snow angel assembled hang tag made with a coffee dyed hang tag, acrylic paints, pages from a vintage 1900's book and real german glass glitter. I hand stitched the hearts on with cream colored quilter's thread and the tiny little stars in the sky too.

I also made the curly rusty wire hanger with the jingle bell to hang it with. I just love making these little assembled tags! Hang them from your winter or valentine feather tree to add a little bit of sparkle this winter/valentine's season. =o)

I'll post her link here when she goes on tomorrow! Thanks for looking at my art!

Two of my Favorite Christmas Gifts..........

The most fun gifts to get at Christmastime are the hand made ones........the ones that come from the heart and hands of some of my dearest friends. =o) The first one came to me in the mail from my dear friend Sandy or Sam (Samiamcreations). Her newest passion is these little objet d'art soldered necklaces that I absolutely ADORE and you can find in her etsy shop.........

(Photo altered using Paint Shop Pro)

.......and the second treasured gift came from one of my best friend's JoycEE.....aka Enchanted Productions and was made by another best friend Christy.....aka Ccswhimsies. When Joyce gave my gift to me along with the sweetest hand written card.........all I could do was sob. I had seen this beautiful painting on PfattMarketplace only AFTER it had been purchased by Joyce. I scolded her for scooping it up first! lol So imagine my joy when I opened her package to find inside this sweet little angel staring up at me!!!! =o) I am so blessed to have such sweet and loving friends!!!!!!

I love you girls!!!!
HUGS!

A New Ebay Listing...........

I really had fun making this art tag last evening! The urge to paint just hasn't been around much here lately. Not with the holiday season and all the things that we think we have to get finished......(yet they never all get done). I think we stress out way too much at Christmas! lol

So I got the urge on Christmas night to paint a tag. A snowman mind you......even though we didn't get a white christmas this year. I think my subconscious was speaking to me...............LOL!

I added real fine german glass glitter to her crown but darned if I can ever get that stuff to show up in a picture! I just love her eyes! I have a thing for eyelashes even though they aren't the IN thing right now.

She'd be the perfect addition to someone's winter feather tree. Stop by my auction and take a peek at her if you wish..............

Dear Santa........Define Good

I thought I would share the picture that I made to put in our Christmas cards this year.....LOL Now is that an impish little grin on that face or what? And the saying that I added says it all, Dear Santa......Define Good! Don't you just love the photo programs these days? I added the tinsel garland in her hands, around her neckline and the little tinsel halo around her head. That ornery look is from when I asked her to "Say Cheese!"

I hope you all take tons of pics this Christmas season that will make lasting memories for years to come. They're only little once...........

Happy Holidays!

Pictures With The Jolly Old Elf...........

This was one of last year's pictures that Becky got of Jadyn checking him out! You can tell that she's not too sure if she really wants to be there or not. She's thinking......who is this guy dressed up like me???? Hahaha!

Pictured above is last year's picture with the Jolly Old Elf. Jadyn was only 9 1/2 months old in this picture.

And here she is this year at age 20 1/2 months. Look at the difference that a whole year makes..........makes me wanna cry! She's growing up so fast! What precious memories these pictures will make!
Last saturday was pictures with Santa day at the cafe and creamery down the street from my shoppe. Our friend Becky Hart of Hart Photography does a wonderful job of taking the kids pictures. She really works with them to make sure this is a pleasant experience for all involved.....LOL! When kids are this age, you never know what kind of reaction they are going to have towards the Jolly Old Elf..........=o) Luckily for us...........Jadyn was not afraid and didn't even cry! Afterwards she told santa in her best 20 month old language what she wanted for Christmas......with some interpretation from Nana of course...LOL! She told him that she wanted a baby, a stroller and anything Blue's Clues (her favorite show). And after that............I told her she better give Santa a kiss and she leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek! Awwwwwwwwwwwwww..................no picture of that since Becky was holding Jadyn when she kissed Santa Claus!

Thanks Santa and Thanks Becky!

Love, Jadyn

New Ebay Listing: Snowman Hang Tag

I finally got another tag finished to list on eBay! I love doing these hand hang tags. Instead of the heart in hand, this one is a snowman in hand.......how apropriate for this time of year, even though all of our snow has melted with the rain. =o( This one has lots of hand stitching with a free form swirl pattern. I also made my own hanger from the twisted rope rusty wire and added a rusty jingle bell. I like to use vintage things on my tags......such as the paper that the hand which is from an early 1900's book and the vintage button which I hand sewed to the cuff. I recycled a Christmas card from last year to use on the wrist cuff and the snowman face. I'm a good one for never throwing anything away that I think I might be able to reuse in my art. Just ask my family........................they call me PACK...........LOL!! Oh well, they just don't "get it"!

Here's the link in case you would like to take a peek at my tag on eBay..............

Last Year's Pfatt Ornie Swap

Pictured above are my Pfatt ornie swaps from last year! I just had to share! From left to right..........1. Gourd santa ornie from Linda (thegourdqueen) 2. Snowman in cone ornie from Kaf (Oldcapeprimitives) 3. Cardinal on snowball ornie from Sharon (Greeneyes) 4. Star ornie and angel tag from Jo (Cartbeforethehorse)

Wasn't I a lucky, lucky girl?????????????????? =o)

It's hard to believe that it's been a whole year since we had the last Pfatt ornie swap already! Where does the time go to anyway? Last year, I made the little pins pictured above and turned them into a tag/ornie. I had so much fun creating them! The pin itself was a round wooden disk which I painted then attached to the coffee dyed tag. Her paper crown was made from the pages of a vintage early 1900's book. Her collar and the points of her crown where made using a recycled bracelet of my daughter's. This year's ornie swap kind of snuck up on me and I didn't have time to make any ornies, but I used something else that I had made, which still had a winter theme. I threw in some other goodies for my Pfatt sister's too which I hope they will love...but I can't show them here since they haven't gotten their box yet. Don't want to spoil the surprise! lol Well, I can't anyways since dummy me forgot to take pics before I shipped them to Carol. I cannot WAIT to get mine! And I will make sure to post pics for you all to see!
