How about a used tea bag? If I get a second guess, I'd say cupcake liner. But if tea bag is correct than forget the cupcake liner response. On the other hand... if it's not a tea bag than my guess is most definitely a cup cake liner. And if it is neither of these than I will just have to cry...

Love your newest painting! My guess to what the rosette is made out of is a laundry dryer sheet?! I have no idea what it is but I thought I'd have a go at it. Very curious to find out what it really is though.
