"Little Ghost Witch" on eBay.........

I listed this little Halloween collage on eBay last evening. A little framed collage that was created from a thrift store framed print that has been recycled. I just love to create art from cast off items!

I love doing these frames with the penny rug finger borders....

And hand painted the background with this black tree and crows.....

My Second Little Canvas...............

I've listed my second little chunky canvas tonight on Ebay. I just love the bright color of this one. I continued using the penny rug border with the little flowers around the outside edge on this canvas just like I did on the first one. I like the way that it gives it a little more depth. These little 4x4" chunky canvases make a statement on their own or in a grouping and they don't take up alot of space. I hope you like them too. =D

A New Adventure...............

I mentioned in my last post that I had purchased some of the chunky little framed canvases from Dick Blick to play around with. I also mentioned being intimidated by them and afraid to start a project with them.....LOL Well I picked up the brushes and started to paint after thinking about what subject I wanted to go with on my first one. The little chunky 4x4's are so tiny that I decided to go with just a head...............

Around the outer edge, I cut and paste little penny rug tabs from an early 1900's book............

I then added little paper punched flowers and hand painted the leaves and stems.........

And last but not least, I gave her a face...................

Oh what fun she was to make! I've titled this one The Pumpkin Queen's Garden. Now I'm excited to create more!! =D This little one will be listed on eBay tomorrow evening. I'll be back to post her link after she goes on.

Thanks for viewing my little work in progress!
