Here are some pics that I took as we drove around town on Wednesday after our ice storm Tuesday night. We started getting more snow that afternoon and it covered up all the ice. I took Jadyn with me on my trip to the Post Office to mail out packages. We drove around town for a little bit, then came home. I took her out in the back yard to her little playhouse with the slide. She didn't care for the sound of the ice breaking underneath her feet and then she would sink down in to the other layer of snow underneath it. She was ready to come back in after about 5 minutes and me snapping a few pics. She's like her Nana, doesn't like the cold...........LOL
Here are some pics around town, my garden things covered in snow and ice and few pics of Jadyn too.....enjoy!

Grab the Kleenex..............
I just had to share this film with all of you. I first saw if when my friend Carolee Clark shared it with an eBay group that we were both in. I have the Duirwaigh Gallery website posted in my favorite website list. Here's the link if you would like to order the Book and the DVD of this short film by Angi Sullins and Silas Toball. They will sweeten the gift even more by donating a portion of the proceeds to the Make a Wish Foundation. Each sale of "A Knock at the Door" will contribute to making a wish come true for a terminally ill child.
If you want to hear the music without my blog music playing.....make sure you go over to my music player and turn the sound off before starting the video.
Enjoy............

A Little Preview...................
.......of things to come. The EHAG (Eclectic Halloween Artist Group) eBay group is having a winter challenge on January 26th. The theme for this challenge is "The Weather Outside is Frightful". What could be more perfect..........no? lol The weather here in Ohio has been pretty frightful this past weekend with a mix of snow, sleet, winds and cold........brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. (Is spring here yet??????????) =o) Below is the piece that I just finished. This candlestick was in our shoppe, brought in by one of our consignment artists, and I had one of those light bulb moments when I saw it! A head could go on top of those knobs on the one side and that could be her arm holding the candle! =o) I hand crocheted her little Halloween scarf and her little hat out of fun fur yarn. Has anyone ever tried to actually crochet with this stuff? You cannot see your stitches at all! It's definitely not for amateur crocheters like me! LOL You just have to try to feel for your stitches amongst all those little furry things......heck, I should have taken my magnifying eyeglasses off to do it, since I couldn't see anything anyhow! hahaha!
So I sat down one night last week and got out the package of paper clay that my good friend JoycEE had her hubby pick up for us. He works in Cuyahoga Falls and there's a Michael's close by, so he's the designated paper clay picker upper............lol (Thanks Murph!) =D
You see, my first experience with paper clay was at the 1st PFATT Fest held in Berlin, OH at the Coblentz Country Cabins. It was taught by my dear friend Christy Meyers of Ccswhimsies. What wonderful memories I still have of that day! All of us sculpted snowman heads that day and they were all taken back home to be finished and listed on eBay. I still to this day wish that I had kept that first snowman............he was sooo cute!
Below is a pic of some of the unfinished heads that we sat in front of the firplace to dry.........
Well, I have since then only sculpted twice. Both were snowmen..........I just can't get past that little carrot nose! My second paper clay sculpt is pictured up above in my banner and below...........
I will make sure that I post the link when the EHAG challenge starts so you all can see the frightfully creative items that all the EHAG artists come up with this month!

My Most Favorite Christmas Gift This Year!!!!!
I just had to add some hard rock to my Playlist! Hope I didn't scare anyone! LOL I've always had a love of Hard Rock music. I think it stems from me playing the drums from 6th-10th grade. And If you were in high school in the late 70's, then you know that Rock & Roll was HOT back then! Not that it isn't today, but there are just so many other kinds of music now days to listen to. So anyhow...........I grew up listening to AC/DC and I still love them to this day! Those old classics of theirs are still the best in my music book! So when I heard this new song by them, I said........"Oh, I would LOVE to have that CD!" And Morgan actually listened when I said that! hahaha!! Now that in itself was an amazing fete! So on Christmas morning, I unwrapped one of my gifts from her and it was their newest CD BLACK ICE! And the cutest thing was when I put that Cd in the BOSE and it came on loud and strong.........Jadyn started doing a cheerleading dance to it! LOL The girl knows good music when she hears it already and she's only 2! *giggle*
Yippee!!!!!!!!!!! Now I can pound that steering wheel while I'm cruisin' down the road jammin' to my new CD!! Don't you wonder what the people that pass by you think when they look over and see this middle aged woman with her head bangin' to the beat and her hands poundin' the steering wheel is listening to???? I bet they would never in a million years guess! Hahaha!
So ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!
