I listed this little Halloween collage on eBay last evening. A little framed collage that was created from a thrift store framed print that has been recycled. I just love to create art from cast off items!


I love doing these frames with the penny rug finger borders....


And hand painted the background with this black tree and crows.....

Patriotic 4th of July Hang Tag on eBay.......

I stepped away from the Halloween tags to list this patriotic 4th of July hang tag in celebration of our Independance Day. The vintage eagle button that I used on this tag is from a military uniform.......what branch, I have no clue. If anyone out there knows, please leave me a message.........I'd appreciate it!

Summertime fun in 90 Degree Heat in Ohio.............

Man was it ever hot and humid here last week! It felt more like the end of August instead of the beginning of June! Jadyn wanted in her pool every single day. Her other grandma has been taking her to swim lessons at the YMCA and she just loves the water and her favorite thing is to float on her back. She even does it in the tub with only about 3 inches of water in it....LOL! She's going to be so dark by the end of the summer. She has her momma and papaw's skin complection.......thank goodness!

Third in my Series of Witchy Hang Tags....

I hope you all have time to stop by eBay and take a peek at the third in my series of BeWitching Hang Tags. This one I have done before and I absolutely love it!


I even hand shaped and made the rusty twisted wire hanger that matches the hand stitched stars on the tag. I always use vintage buttons on my tags also....I just like the little vintage touch that it adds to them........


I paint them and sand them to make them look more timeworn and the hand stitching is so much fun to do!

"Silent Flight" Hang Tag on eBay!

Here's the sister tag to the one that ended last night! I painted this tag cream and added a repro print from the same illustrator. I Love the muted colors of these prints! Once again, I embellished it with hand stitching, a vintage button and a little hand painted bat down in the corner.

Oopsie! This week has flown by and I forgot to show you all my latest hang tag! It's another "Midnight Ride" Halloween hang tag. Hand painted, hand stitched and just plain old fun! I love this artist's print of the little girl witch standing on her broom with her little black cat holding a lantern to light her way through the dark night!

When all we had to worry about was whether we could eat the whole popsicle before it melted and fell on the gound? LOL

Summertime and popsicles take us back to our childhood and make us wish we were that carefree and young again.

Sigh............I'll take a root beer........no make that a banana..........no a cherry..............remember fighting with our brothers and/or sisters over who got which flavor? LOL

The sticky after effects always had us running to the garden hose to rinse off! Then that led to someone aiming the hose and pulling the trigger.............and the never ending "MOM!!!!!!!!!!"

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...........to be that young again!!!!
