Little Red Riding Hood Tag on Ebay........

Another altered art tag for Ebay! My friend Joyce made a Little Red Riding Hood doll to sell on Ebay and I was inspired to make another little RRH tag. I've made them before but it's been a while. I've added the hand stitching of her name, the wolf paw prints plus the adorable little pewter basket like the one that she carries to grandma's house as a little extra added touch.

This print of LRRH was done by Jessie Wilcox Smith. She's one of my all time favorite illustrators! I love the softness of her paintings and the innocent look of the children from that time. Here's a link if you would like to read her biography..............

and here's some of her gorgeous work (in case you just like to look at pictures.....LOL).......

If you would like to take a look at my auction on now, here's the link..........

My Valentine Queen of Hearts tag on Ebay........

I'm having so much fun creating these hand painted tags for Ebay! I made some of these Queen of Hearts hang tags last year and decided I wanted to make another one. She's a bit different than last years. I always try to keep each of them a little different than the last. I'm one of those people that gets bored making the same thing over and over. Kind of takes the fun out of it.......LOL
I added more of the hand stitching to this one along with the vintage elements such as the paper in her crown and the vintage cream shoe button. I added some real silver glitter to her little paper crown. It will tarnish on it's own over time to a wonderful patina! I absolutely love this stuff! If you've never tried it before.....you must! You will love it!!!
I hope you have time to stop by and take a peek at her this week. Happy Valentine's Day.................
