New Hang Tag/Ornies Listed on eBay this Week.....

I've listed these two adorable hang tags/ornies with easy and convenient BIN's of $9.95!

I used vintage repro prints of Ellen Clapsaddle's postcard art along with vintage buttons, ribbon rosettes, real silver glitter and hand stitching. These look so pretty hanging from a tree, a cupboard door or on a Christmas package.

I ship quickly so you will have them in plenty of time for the holidays or as gifts. Just click on their pictures to go see their auctions!

Happy Holidays!

Silent Flight Tag on eBay!

I've listed another in my series of hand made hang tags. This is the one that I have entitled "Silent Flight". Just imagine how quietly they would glide over that marsh on a moonlit night? We all know how quietly those bats can zip around..........*shiver*

The twisted wire hangers are hand made by me and I bend them into the shape of stars to match the ones that I hand stitch on with cream colored quilter's thread, which I then coffee stain to make them look more aged. I also use vintage buttons that I try very hard to match up with the looks of the prints that I choose.

I have to share this story about an email that I received through eBay about one of my tag auctions. The sender was not anyone that I knew but her question was, "Is this price for just ONE tag?" Well.........I replied back that it was. I tried to explain to her how many steps go into creating just that one tag. Evidently this person was not an artist or she would have never asked that question.............=D

I've listed two witch tags on ebay this week. Both tags that I have done before but oh so popular prints! I just love her illustrations and the colors that she uses!

New Witches Brew Hang Tag on eBay!

This is the "full monte" of the other tag that I had listed last week! lol This show's a picture of the whole cackle of witches sipping their brew.

I did more hand stitching on this tag and it also has the wire hanger that has been bent into the shape of a star.

I hope you have time to stop by and see it on eBay! Just click here!

New Witchy tag art on eBay!

I created another witchy Halloween tag with this popular print of the witches' tea party. I stitched on cream and black twisted chenille culyq's to the bottom edge of the tag and sprayed it with a fine gold glitter. Something different to embellish with, so I thought I would give it a try. I really like the way it turned out!

If you have time......HERE'S the eBay link.

(Don't you wish you could hear what secret spells they might be whispering to each other? *cackle*)

Pfatt Tuesday.......America or Bust!

Well yesterday was Pfatt Tuesday for the Ebay group PFATT (Primitive Folk Art Tea & Talk).

Our theme this month was America or bust and I sat down and painted this primitive folk art hang tag ornie of a bust of Lady Liberty. At least she's my version of Lady Liberty.......LOL! Hope you have time to jump on over to Ebay and take a peek at her..........

I made her little wire hanger and bent it into a star shape. Don't you just love those little afterthoughts that pop into your mind while you are creating? LOL

Frosty Valentine Sparkles..............

I listed this little girl on EBay this evening. She is now one of my all time favorite tags. These have become so much fun to create........like little miniature works of art.

Click here to see her EBay auction............

.................but something that I finally ordered arrived in the mail today. I wanted them for the Pfatt Tuesday listing but they didn't make it in time. So today they finally made it here.......a box of small 4x4 and 6x6 chunky stretched canvases! And I am intimidated! Afraid to start on one.......I want to make sure that I pick something that won't be too hard and I won't screw up! LOL These cost more than my paper hang tags do.........hahaha! SO now...............I sit back and take a few days to think about what my first one will become. Joyce...................I think you might have to push me to help get me started! LOL OH............and yours are here too and you're gonna LOVE the little 4x4's! We should have ordered a set for each of us!

Dick Blick............we'll be back! Hahahaha!!!!!!!

Snow Angel Valentine Tag ending Tonight.............

I painted this tag last night and I will list it on Ebay tomorrow evening at 9:15. She's a winter valentine snow angel assembled hang tag made with a coffee dyed hang tag, acrylic paints, pages from a vintage 1900's book and real german glass glitter. I hand stitched the hearts on with cream colored quilter's thread and the tiny little stars in the sky too.

I also made the curly rusty wire hanger with the jingle bell to hang it with. I just love making these little assembled tags! Hang them from your winter or valentine feather tree to add a little bit of sparkle this winter/valentine's season. =o)

I'll post her link here when she goes on tomorrow! Thanks for looking at my art!
