I think it is a dryer sheet you stained and then used a button for the center. That's my guess!!

Hi Lori,
The rosette looks like it was made out of shells. This is a great piece.

Hi Lori!

Love your newest painting! My guess to what the rosette is made out of is a laundry dryer sheet?! I have no idea what it is but I thought I'd have a go at it. Very curious to find out what it really is though.

Darn, I was going to say coffee filter too, but Robert & Carolee beat me...

Hmmm, how about tissue paper or maybe phyllo dough... :-)

She's very sophisticated Lori, and I agree with the coffee filter....I mean I agree it's a coffee filter....I don't normally talk to coffee filters much less agree with them!

I am going to have to stayed tuned to this one. All of my choices have been called out and you say they aren't the answer. So I am stumped.

A paper towel.. I really doubt that.

GeeZ, I got in late, but I was going to say tissue paper or a filter. How about crepe paper!
Anyhoo, I love her!

How about a used tea bag? If I get a second guess, I'd say cupcake liner. But if tea bag is correct than forget the cupcake liner response. On the other hand... if it's not a tea bag than my guess is most definitely a cup cake liner. And if it is neither of these than I will just have to cry...

Okay, okay... If you really want me to limit my guess to one answer I'll say tea bag. That's my final answer. Unless...

Congratulations Kaf! =o)

Thank you to all who played along! I will have to do this again sometime soon!
